A Machine That Converts Sweat into Drinking Water

Sounds odd ? But yes, its is true that a machine is invented to convert Sweat into Drinking Water. It has been launched in Sweden. This machine takes sweat-laden clothes and converts the moisture into drinking water. The device which is connected to the machine spins and heats the material to remove sweat and passes the vapour through a special made membrane which allows only water molecules to pass through it.

The water which will produced from this machine will be more clear than the normal tap water. This machine is made with the intention to provide clear and healthy water for all those people in the world who lacks to get clear water. The design and building structure of this device is made by an engineer Andreas Hammer who is popularly known for his appearances in a TV tech show.

The most attractive and valuable part of the machine is the water purification component which is developed by HVR company in partnership with Sweden's Royal Institute of Technology.

Since the machine to convert urine to drinking water is already have been made and is used in the space station but this device is cheaper to build. According to Andreas Hammer, the machine uses a substance that makes only steam to let out but it will not let out bacteria, salts clothing fibres and other substances. The amount of water produces through this machine depends on how much sweat can a person generate. But according to a experiment, a T-Shirt can produce a amount of 10ml drinking water.

So it's a new invention but it has a limitation of not producing high outcome. But still it will help people in many ways and the engineers are still working on it to make it more profitable and economical.
