Epicurator - A New iPhone Food App

Epicurator launched to the public and released an iOS app on 12th July 2013 that helps users on how to cook dishes at home. The users of Epicurator will review food on a dish-by-dish basis, which are then aggregated into an average restaurant rating. 

It is basically a photo driven app created for food lovers. Epicurator is an easy-to-use food discovery and recommendation tool that allows users to upload pictures of food and drinks directly from their iPhone, camera roll or social media to their Epicurator profiles. You can rate the dishes on a scale from “Blech,” to “Foodgasm,” with “Foodgasm,” being the most highly recommended rating. Users are encouraged to discover new restaurants and dishes by searching a specific food category or dish, thereby pulling images from other Epicurators and highlighting recommendations from friends. The app also allows users to explore their local city or neighborhood as well as new cities to find the best food and new restaurant openings. The more recommendations with ratings a user posts, the higher they will rank on the leaderboard of foodies on Epicurators. It will change the way how we see the food items.
